ABOUT

About Us

We help individuals and businesses navigate document formalities in the Netherlands and abroad – from obtaining documents to notarization, translations, apostille and consular legalization.

Our practice focuses on practical, end-to-end support for documents that need to be used across borders. We understand that every authority, embassy and institution has its own requirements, and that clients often do not have the time or experience to coordinate each step themselves.

We work with Dutch notaries, sworn translators, courts, ministries and embassies, as well as a network of partners in other jurisdictions, to make sure your documents are prepared correctly the first time.

Whether you are preparing for a move abroad, a marriage, a company transaction or immigration procedures, we aim to provide clear explanations, realistic timelines and transparent pricing.

What we do in practice
• Advise which route is needed: notarization, apostille, embassy or sworn translation
• Obtain Dutch documents on your behalf (civil registry, KVK, police, etc.)
• Coordinate with notary offices for certified copies and signature witnessing
• Arrange sworn translations into the required languages
• Submit documents to courts, ministries and embassies for legalization
• Arrange international courier delivery where needed

Our Approach & Values

01
Clarity in procedures
We explain in plain language which steps are required, which authority is involved and in what order the process needs to be completed. You know in advance what we will do and what we need from you.
02
International perspective
Many of our clients live, work or study across borders. We are familiar with typical requirements from foreign embassies, universities, immigration offices and notaries, and we take this into account when preparing your documents.
03
Attention to detail
Small details in names, dates or wording can lead to delays or rejection. We carefully check the formal requirements of the receiving authority and, where possible, ask you to confirm spellings and personal data before documents are finalized.
04
Single point of contact
Instead of dealing separately with notaries, translators, courts and embassies, you communicate with one contact person who coordinates the entire process on your behalf.
How we work
While each case is different, most projects follow a similar structure:
  • 1
Initial review. You send us a scan of your document and tell us the destination country and the purpose (for example: marriage, study, work, immigration, company use).
  • 2
Route & quote. We confirm which formalities are needed and provide an overview of the steps, expected timeline and fee estimate.
  • 3
Execution. We coordinate notarization, translations, apostille, ministry and embassy appointments, keeping you updated at key stages.
  • 4
Delivery. Once all formalities are completed, we arrange delivery of your documents by registered mail or courier, depending on your preference.
We are not a law firm and do not provide litigation or tax advice. Our focus is on document handling, formalities and legalization procedures so that your existing legal and personal documents are accepted by the relevant authorities.
